Rabbi Avrohom Yachnes, Rabbinic and Chinuch Advisor
Rabbi Yachnes received semicha from Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim in Queens, New York. He resides in North Miami Beach, Florida, where he has taught talmidim of all ages for over thirty years. His main focus in chinuch is the study of Mussar and character development. He is the author of Orchos Tzaddikim: A Treasure for Life published by Feldheim.
Mrs. Samantha Hirsch, Executive Director/Administrator
After receiving her B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Stern College, Mrs. Hirsch was a teacher in early childhood education before managing homeschooling for her own children. As Executive Director and administrator, Mrs. Hirsch manages the program operations, coordinates with teachers on the educational components of the curriculums, and facilitates field trips/extracurricular activities.
Mrs. Rachel Leah Harris, Teacher/Curriculum Coordinator
Mrs. Harris has been working with children ever since she was old enough to do so. Rachael Leah received her Teacher’s Certificate from Yavne Teacher’s College, after which she worked as a teacher for classes of various ages and subjects, from Kindergarten through High School, Judaic, and General Studies. After she became a mother, her passion for educating children grew into a passion for homeschooling. Mrs. Harris believes in providing children with rigorous foundational skills training, while simultaneously providing time and space for personal exploration and interest-led learning. As curriculum coordinator and teacher, it is her goal to help every child achieve, learn, and become the best they can be.
Rabbi Yaakov Mizrahi, Rebbe
Rabbi Mizrahi was raised in Israel until he was 16, at which point his family moved to Florida. He went to Ner Yisrael Yeshiva for the remainder of high school and subsequently 5 years of Beis Medrash where he earned his bachelors in Talmudic law. He has been tutoring children of all ages and in all subjects for the last 8 years. For the past year, he has been teaching in Toras Emes elementary school. He lives in North Miami Beach with his wife and two sons. Rabbi Mizrahi is an EMT and volunteers at Hatzalah of Miami-Dade.
Mrs. Judy Markell, Kindergarten teacher and Extra-Curricular Activities Fascilitator
Mrs. Markell, known as “Mora Judy,” is a long-time educator in the South Florida Jewish community. She holds the nationally-recognized CDA (Child Development Associate) credential for VPK teaching and is certified in GOLD Teaching Strategies for development and learning. She has also acted as a mentor to other teacher’s, helping them develop their teaching strategies. Her goal has always been to listen carefully to each child (and their families), get to know who they are, and then help them develop their character within, allowing them to reach and discover their greatest potential through Torah and Yiras Shamayim. Recently, she has used the S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) method to teach children, bringing everyone’s talents together. She believes that teaching is a gift from Hashem and is a bracha to teach each student. Among some of her favorite hobbies are puppetry, writing children’s books, woodworking, recycle art, animals, and nature exploration.
Mrs. Susan Lieberman, General Studies Teacher & Yoga Instructor
Mrs. Lieberman graduated from the University of Florida with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and a specialization in literacy. She has been fortunate to work with children of diverse ages, backgrounds, cultures, and learning styles. In doing so, she learned to be conscious of the needs for differentiated instruction and is a self-reflective educator. She believes in maximizing children’s individual academic, social and artistic skills in a nurturing, safe environment. When she’s not teaching your child, you will find her with her two very own, Riley and Coby. Together, they are passionate about learning, yoga, and spending time together.
Mrs. Cheli Rosenbaum, Math and Hebrew Teacher
Mrs. Rosenbaum was raised in Tel Aviv, Israel. Upon returning to Florida, she majored in psychology from Florida International University. Most recently, she directed, managed, and taught in the Hebrew department at Ben Gamla Preparatory Academy. She currently is pursuing a master’s degree in child psychology.

Mrs. Robin Dubowitz Andisman, Board Member
Mrs. Andisman grew up in Los Angeles, California and received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from San Diego State University and Southwestern University Law School. Robin practiced environmental law at the Atlantic Richfield Corporation and left the practice of law to pursue a career in legal recruiting. She relocated to South Florida in 1998 and opened the South Florida office of a national recruiting company. Mrs. Andisman has been in the Legal Recruiting industry for the past 20 years and currently owns her own recruiting firm. Mrs. Andisman currently resides in Hollywood, Florida with her husband. They are very active with many organizations in the South Florida Jewish Community.
Mrs. Jennifer ChemTov, Board Member
Mrs. Chemtov serves as Chief Financial Officer for HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, a leading provider of healthcare staffing and workforce solutions. She has 25 years of financial management and leadership experience in the staffing and consulting industries. Before joining HealthTrust, Mrs. ChemTov served as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for Randstad Technology and Randstad Professionals, leading providers in professional services recruiting and staffing. She spent 15 years at Randstad in senior management roles in finance, pricing and accounting. Mrs. ChemTov began her career at Arthur Andersen LLP, with expanding leadership roles over 6 years in Audit and Business Advisory Services.
Ms. Susan Grossman, Board Member
Originally from Bluefield, West Virginia, Ms. Grossman has been a resident of Hollywood, Florida for the past 29 years. Ms. Grossman holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in Vocational Industrial Education. For the past 17 years, Ms. Grossman has been the librarian and computer teacher at Toras Emes Academy in North Miami Beach, Florida. Previously, she was a member of the Board of Trustees for Brauser Maimonides Academy in Hollywood, Florida. Ms. Grossman previously worked in the corporate sector in the areas of training and development and was the owner and operator of SRM Consultants in Richmond, Virginia, servicing the food and beverage industry.
